PHRIDGE

Privacy Policy

Last updated 11 October 2026

The short version: Phridge collects no data. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it never connects to the internet. Everything you put on your fridge stays on your device.

This policy covers the Phridge app for iPhone and iPad ("Phridge", "the app"), made by Very Lazy Pixels ("we", "us"). It explains what the app does with your information, which is to keep it on your device and nowhere else.

What we collect

Nothing. Phridge does not collect, store, send or share any personal data with us or with anyone else. There is no sign-in, no server and no third-party code in the app: no analytics, advertising, crash reporting or social media SDKs.

What stays on your device

To keep your fridge the way you left it, the app saves these things locally on your device:

We can't see any of it. It is stored in the app's own private storage, which other apps can't read. Like other app data, it may be included in your device backups to iCloud or your computer if you have backups turned on. Apple handles those backups under its own privacy policy. To delete everything, remove the app from your device.

Camera and photos

If you tap the camera to put a photo on your fridge, iOS asks for permission to use the camera. The app uses the camera only to take that photo, and only when you ask it to. When you pick a photo from your library, iOS's own photo picker shows only the photo you choose to the app, so the app never sees the rest of your library. Photos you add are saved in the app on your device and never uploaded. You can turn camera access off at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Camera.

Motion sensors

The app reads your device's motion sensors while it is open, so it can tilt the view and react when you shake the phone. The readings are used on the spot and are never saved or sent anywhere.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes the way it handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change ships.
